The Harbour is a locally recognized and widely respected non-profit organization that reaches out toyoung women in the northern Chicago suburbs. Every year we open our doors and our hearts to hundreds of neglected, abused, and runaway youth who have nowhere else to go. Our programs offer hope and safety to young adults who are forced into harmful and sometimes life-threatening situations.

 

Through the generous donations of our Friends of The Harbour, we continue to provide safety and shelter to the neglected young women in our neighborhoods. You can become a Friend of The Harbour by making a tax-deductible donation that will provide a second chance to an individual someone chose to abandon.  

 

Here's what your gift can do:

 

• $50 provides three meals a day to a girl in our Shelter or Transitional Living Program for a week

• $75 provides one month of transportation to school and her part-time job for a girl in our Transitional Living Program

• $175 pays a week's rent for a young mom and her baby

• $1,500 provides apartment set-up (basic household supplies and furniture, pantry staples) for a working youth's first apartment

 

A gift of any size makes it possible for us to continue to offer services to young women in need.
