We are currently looking for an individual to volunteer in our Park Ridge office and assist our administrative staff with daily activities.
Position Title: Volunteer Office Assistant
Essential Functions:
Assists with clerical functions including data entry, filing, shredding, and other projects around the
office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining client files by filing proper paperwork.
- Assist in shredding discarded material.
- Assist in mild data entry.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Competent with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
2. Is able to lift bags/boxes up to 15 lbs. and carry them for a distance of 50 yards.
3. Is able to use basic office equipment: fax machine, copy machine, PC.
4. This volunteer position requires a fingerprint background clearance, current State ID,
SS Card or US Passport, and a professional letter of reference.
5. Must be available to commit to at least 4 hours per week.
